RinCon is just over the horizon!
Ahoy there, gamers! It’s full steam ahead for RinCon at the Casino Del Sol Conference Center on June 23-25, and we’ve got some announcements for you, me hearties!
GM discount codes are being created and sent in batches; they will all go out to you by midnight tomorrow (Tuesday, June 6th). This will allow you to purchase your discounted tickets prior to… drum roll…
The posting of RinCon 2023 scheduled games! Starting at 9PM on Thursday, June 8th, you’ll be able to see all the scheduled programming we have on offer at https://rincon2023.sched.com. And remember, there’s also a board games library, our huge Play-to-Win section, the Indie RPG Arcade, demo sessions from local game designers, some of the hottest new titles hosted all weekend long by Adventures in Board Gaming, and lots of pick-up games and open tables, as well as Artemis missions leaving on the hour, Paint’n’Take minifigs, and much more.
Sign-ups for scheduled games open at 9PM on Friday, June 9th. Make sure that the email you used to purchase your ticket is the same as the email you use to log in at sched.com, or it won’t recognize you as an attendee. Even though our GMs’ discount is no longer available, if there’s a game you’re just itching to get to the table, or if there’s something you don’t see in the schedule that you were hoping for, then feel free to submit it! We’ll do our best to find a table for it in the schedule, and then folks can sign up ahead of time. The best way to be sure you get to play your favorite game is to host your favorite game!
Hotel rooms: Casino Del Sol is able to hold our room block until Thursday, June 8th at 5AM. After that, our reduced prices will still be available to you, but the rooms will be released back to general public purchase. As of this afternoon, there were 30+ rooms still available for RinCon attendees only, but they won’t last forever!
Food/beverage vouchers: Available for purchase until Friday June 16th, these are the best way to game the system! There are not really any convenient offsite food options, so we’ve got a great deal for you: gift cards that can be used at any of the 11 food/beverage venues on the property. $60 gets you a $100 card, $30 gets you a $50 card. No resale allowed, and they can only be used during our event plus one day before and after.
