We’re sailing full steam ahead for RinCon on June 23-25, but we’ve got a few ports of call along the way – you’ll find details below, and we hope to see you at one of the events! And check out a preview of all the great programming we’ll have at RinCon – let’s get KRAKEN!
BUY YOUR RINCON TICKETS HERE! And don’t forget to pick up some food and beverage vouchers as well – they’ll be good at all the bars and restaurants onsite, and $30 gets you a $50 voucher. Casino Del Sol has 11 different food options, from $8 burritos at Abuelita’s or chili-cheese dogs at the Bingo hall, to the $25/person Festa Buffet (2 people can visit the buffet for one of our $30 vouchers, plus a bit of tax!), to pan-Asian or Italian cuisine, to sandwiches and pizza, and finish it off with gelato or donuts. Or if you’re really looking to go gourmet-wild, PY Steakhouse is the place for you. Food options are very scarce nearby offsite, so the Casino Del Sol food/beverage vouchers are absolutely your best deal. Game the system, on us! These vouchers will NOT be available for purchase onsite, so get them now while you can.

THIS SATURDAY 5/20, 10AM-10PM: Fundraiser Family Game Day at the Casino Del Sol Conference Center, 5655 W. Valencia Road
$5 suggested donation, and we’ll have fantastic raffles all day long. Enter the casino property from Valencia Rd., follow signs and park in the free garage. Come in through the lobby, and the Conference Center is on your left. We’ll be getting into the nautical / aquatical theme for this year, so bring your favorite game about Atlantis, pirates, deep-sea creatures, seafaring trade, or anything else. One of our special guests, Jessica Feinberg, will be there in the middle of the day selling her amazing artwork and streaming some creation content! Premier RPG Fundraiser: a session of the pirate-themed Rapscallion from Magpie Games! It will be run remotely by a Magpie Games Curated Play professional GM, and will include swag bags and refreshments. Get your ticket for the RPG fundraiser event here!

Board Game Triathlon: Three games, three rounds, one winner!
Someone will go home with the prize and bragging rights around town! Entry fee is $5, you can get your ticket here. Come have some great food and drinks, and play some award-winning games! The three rounds will be Cascadia, Scout, and a mystery game to be announced at the event. A hint: it was recently nominated for a very prestigious award!
Fully remote Premium RPG Fundraiser – Avatar: Legends

Return to the beloved world of Avatar: The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra, this time as the heroes of the story! Tell stories of bravery and sacrifice as you play heroes from the Four Nations who seek to keep the world in harmony, protect people from dangerous threats, and lift others’ spirits when hope appears lost…all while learning what it means to be heroes! Adventure awaits—together you and your group might protect local merchants from the Triple Threat Triad in Republic City, travel through a spirit portal to rescue a child taken into the Spirit World, negotiate peace between feuding communities within the Earth Kingdom, or pursue mysteries (and villains) you discover during your travels! This curated play event is a fully remote session, with actual time/date to be set by the players once ticket sales close. The Magpie Games Curated Play Program connects gamers with awesome, paid GMs who receive training and support from Magpie staff.
