DEADLINE FOR GM DISCOUNT EXTENDED!
We’ve extended the GMs’ discount deadline until 6PM, September 13th (that’s THIS SUNDAY). The holiday weekend snuck up on a lot of folks, and our deadline snuck past, and we recognize that. You’ve got a few more days to submit games to the RinCon 2026 schedule – don’t delay!
For every 4 hours of programming you present, you get one day of your badge for free – click here to submit your games. (The submissions site will still be open until 9/24, and after that you can still bring whatever games you like and grab a table in the open gaming area). These benefits can also stack with volunteer hours, either before, during, or after the convention – click here to see what volunteer opportunities are still available. It takes a community to build a convention, so get involved and help make RinCon 2026 LEGENDARY!
IMPORTANT: if you do run games or volunteer, hold off on buying your badge until we send you your discount code! Starting next Monday 9/14, you’ll start getting contacted by our ticketing champion with questions about what days you’ll be attending, so be on the lookout for her email and reply immediately so she can get your code to you as quickly as possible.
Once we’ve had a chance to process the last-minute submissions, we’ll get everything up on our schedule link so you can see what’s on tap at RinCon 2026. To view our schedule, click here – there’s nothing to see quite yet, but we’ve delayed uploading it until we’re sure that everyone who wants to run games has made their submissions. Keep an eye on our socials and Discord, and we’ll send an announcement here as well. Sign-ups will open Sunday, 9/20 at 2:00 PM, so set yourself an alarm!
In other news…
The Flea Market is always a popular spot at RinCon to pick up a “new” game at a great price, and this year we’re doing something different: The RinCon Shelf of Shame Shop! Instead of our traditional flea market in a separate room at a single time, we will have an ongoing booth within the vendor hall where participants can sell used games that just aren’t getting the table time they’d hoped for, each during a designated time. For buyers, this means fresh new deals to check back and shop for throughout the day! For sellers, you’ll have more exclusive access to buyers during your shift, and more visibility from the folks already shopping in the vendor hall.
If you’re interested in selling your used games or gaming paraphernalia and accoutrements, click here to reserve a time slot for this booth, just like reserving a flea market table in prior years. Each time slot will be approximately 2 hours. Each seller will be responsible for setting up their items at the start of their designated time, handling their own sales and transactions, and clearing out before their shift ends.
