Heyyyy, gamers! 6/13 is the next game day!
First, we’d like to give a shout-out to everyone who came to the fundraiser family game day on 5/17 – we’re on target to raise the money we need to be able to bring all our special guests to the convention and provide special programming. It can’t happen without all of you amazing folks, so thank you! We’ve got some more events coming up in the next few months, so without further ado, here are all the details:
Saturday, June 13, 10AM – 10PM
RinCon Fundraiser Family Game Day, featuring CARD GAMES
Casino Del Sol Conference Center
5655 W. Valencia Rd., Tucson AZ
Follow signs to the free parking garage when you enter the casino property, park, enter the building at the end of the covered walkway, and head to the left into the conference center. In addition to the open gaming tables for RPGs and board games, our open board game lending library, and raffles, we’ve got some very special programming: CARD GAME TOURNAMENTS!
WHO WANTS TO GO TO GENCON?
RinCon/SAGA is proud to present tournaments for three classic card games: Spades, Euchre, and Hearts! Sponsored by the great folks at Double Exposure/Envoy and Bicycle Cards/ USPCC, we’ve got tournaments for three traditional card games that we grew up playing! These tournaments are qualifier events for the championships at GENCON 2026! If you win, you’ll receive a cool trophy and a free 4-day pass to GENCON as well as a seat at the championship event there – what a deal!!
WHO WANTS TO PLAY POKER AND KILL SOME ZOMBIES?
Local company Dark Attic Games will also be hosting a Texas Hold’em With Zombies tourney for 16 players. Build your best poker hand, plus special cards to fend off the undead hordes or send them after your opponents!

It’s time for another game day! We’re partnering again with the amazing folks at MOD Pizza to raise funds for special programing at RinCon 2026. Make sure to mention the fundraiser when you pay for your in-store order, or use the code MODGIVES25 for online orders at modpizza.com or in-app purchases, and 25% of sales will go to support special programming at RinCon2026. We’ll be at the Broadway/Wilmot location in Tucson from 11AM to 9PM with some great board games, so gather your friends and family and get yer game on! And spread the word – you don’t even have to be a gamer to support our non-profit convention. Anyone can use the code, just mention it when you’re paying or put it in when you make your online or in-app order.

If you weren’t able to get a seat at some of the amazing games at RinCon 2025 (2-table Alien RPG, Murder Mystery LARP, blinged-out board games with prizes and table swag, GIANT games, etc.), here’s your chance. As we finalize the schedule and get our reservation sites set up, we’ll let you know in a future email and on socials and Discord. And of course we’ll have our board game library for you to check out, or bring a game or two of your own that you’ve been wanting to get to the table. We’ll also have plenty of tables for RPGs, so feel free to coordinate on socials or in our Discord, or just bring your materials and run a pick-up game. There will be raffles all day long with prizes from many of our amazing donors, so bring a little extra $$ to get some tickets. And to top it all off, we’ll be hosting a make ‘n’ take craft activity to make your own custom gaming swag. Suggested donation for entry is $5-10, and all funds support special programming at this year’s RinCon convention in October.
