BUY YOUR BADGE FOR RINCON 2025

Ticket sales are open!  Cost is $72 for a weekend badge, $35 for minigamers ages 6-12, with single-day tickets also available.  The casino will also have full meals on offer right in the conference center, and we’ve got deeply discounted tickets on sale (until supplies run out).  Your savings will be ~30% off the cash prices w/tax that the casino will charge onsite, and you won’t have to walk all the way to the various food venues in the casino area.  Each ticket will be good throughout the weekend for one meal or beverage of the designated type on any day it’s available (no breakfast on Friday, no dinner on Sunday).  There may be a limited number of concessions tickets available at the RinCon registration desk during the convention as well, but wouldn’t you rather not have to worry about anything once you get to RinCon?  Click here to see the menu, pricing, and hours.
 

VOLUNTEER BEFORE, DURING, OR AFTER THE CONVENTION

For every four hours of volunteering, you’ll get one day of your badge free, whether you help out before, during, or after the convention.  You can also accrue hours for a badge for a friend or family member, so the sky’s the limit! RinCon is a 100% volunteer-run event; we truly appreciate how the community comes together to make it all happen!  We especially need your help in the following areas:

Registration desk or Games HQ at RinCon: Check people in, sell badges, help attendees find their games
RinCon Rover (general roving helper) at RinCon: General logistics help throughout the event
Shifts before and after RinCon: We need all kinds of help with all kinds of things – check out the list of tasks and shifts
 

RUN A GAME AT RINCON

The deadline for getting a GM’s discount for running programming at RinCon is Friday, September 5th.  After that, your event will appear in the published schedule, but you won’t get a discount on your badge price.  We currently need more board games, minis games, and Kids’ Track games.  Got a new game you can’t wait to share?  Or a favorite that you’ve had a tough time getting to the table? RinCon is the perfect place to do it!  If you want to reserve a seat for yourself at the table, click the “GM will be playing in the game” box on your submission.  And remember, if your game fits with this year’s theme of CITIES, you’ll get a RinCoin when it’s run.  Click here for our submission site!  We’ve found that the Firefox browser doesn’t always play nicely, so to ensure the best performance, please use Chrome, Safari, or Edge. For every 4 hours of programming you provide, you’ll get one day of your RinCon badge free.  And games run in Kids’ Track count double!

Here’s a message from the person who coordinates our annual GMs’ Conference:
“As we approach the deadline for submission of events, if you want to run a RPG at RinCon but you are nervous about doing so, send me a message (VampireStan on the RinCon Discord server)! When organizing the presentation this year, we all were talking about trying to set up mentoring for new GMs. It doesn’t matter what game you have in mind, or even if you have one. If you want to do it, and want an experienced GM to help you prepare, discuss, anything you need, shoot me a message or @ me.”  Huzzah for community-building!

HOTEL RESERVATIONS

Here are the instructions provided by Casino Del Sol.  There is a Kevin Hart performance on the Saturday night of RinCon, so the hotel will definitely be in a sell-out situation – make your reservations early!!  Also, very important: IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION AFTER SEPTEMBER 18TH, DO NOT SIMPLY CANCEL!!!  This will NOT put the room back in the RinCon block, it will put it in the general reservations pool and will probably get snatched up by a comedy fan.  SEND AN EMAIL via the Contact Us link on the rincongames.com website, or find a friend who needs the room and transfer the reservation to them, or get in the RinCon Discord and offer to transfer it over to another con attendee.  The casino hotel is happy to do those transfers.


To anyone who will be attending Tucson Comic-Con this weekend, we’re all set up to run GIANT board games and Artemis spaceship bridge simulator in the gaming hall all weekend long!  Come by and see us!
