We are thrilled to announce that we have opened badge and meal ticket sales, GM submissions, and volunteer sign-ups! We repeat, EVERYTHING IS NOW OPEN! Go ye forth and:
Submit games to run at RinCon
Got a game that you’re itching to get to the table? Sign up to run it at RinCon, 11/15 – 11/17! Every 4 hours of programming for a minimum of 4 attendees is eligible for a 33% discount on the cost of a RinCon pre-registration badge. (12 hours of programming gets a free RinCon badge.) Events scheduled for the Kids’ Programming Track count double for this discount. Alternatively, if you are purchasing single-day badges, you can host a 4-hour game to get that day’s badge for free. GM discounts are good for submissions made between now and 10/13 at 10PM. And remember, this year’s theme is Nature, so games that fit the theme get an extra little reward at the convention!
Volunteer to help out
RinCon is a 100% volunteer-run convention, and it can’t happen without the support of the whole gaming community! For every 4 hours of volunteer work you do, you get one free day at RinCon/a 33% discount on the cost of a pre-registration badge; for 12 hours of help, you get a free weekend badge. Sign up for volunteer slots in the following areas:
September 7th Family Fundraiser Game Day: Help set up and tear down, or sign up for a slot at the registration desk and get familiar with how registration works at RinCon
Registration desk/Games HQ at RinCon: Check people in, sell badges, help attendees find their games
Games Library/Play-to-Win Area at RinCon: Help attendees sign out board games and enter the drawings
RinCon Rover (general roving helper) at RinCon: General logistics help throughout the event
Shifts before and after RinCon: We need all kinds of help with all kinds of things – check out the list of tasks and shifts
Buy RinCon badges and meal tickets
If you’re planning to run games or volunteer, PLEASE WAIT TO BUY YOUR BADGE UNTIL YOU RECEIVE YOUR DISCOUNT CODE! Feel free to buy meal tickets, just not your badge.
Early-bird pricing for RinCon badges ($55 for the weekend) will be good through 9/9/2024. After that point, the price goes up to $65.
This year, the casino will have full meals on offer right in the conference center, and we’ve got deeply discounted tickets on sale at our ticketing site (until supplies run out). Your savings will be >30% off the cash prices that the casino will charge onsite, the menu is varied from day to day, and you won’t have to walk all the way to the various food venues in the casino area! Each ticket will be good throughout the weekend for one meal or beverage of the designated type on any day it’s available (no breakfast on Friday, no dinner on Sunday). There may be a limited number of concessions tickets available at the RinCon registration desk during the convention as well, but wouldn’t you rather not have to worry about anything once you get to the event? Get a hotel room
We have block rates at both towers of Casino Del Sol; they are good for Thursday 11/14 through Tuesday 11/19. However, if your stay will include nights other than Friday and Saturday, you’ll need to call the hotel at 1-855-SOL-STAY to make your reservation.
