Greetings, gamers!
We wanted to let you all know – there’s been a last-minute addition to MegaMania, the annual all-ages, free summer festival of cosplay, gaming, crafts, local authors and artists, and all-around geekery in Tucson! IT’S US!!! Members of the RinCon crew will be running GIANT games in their gaming area and a table in the exhibitor area, as well as generally supporting the boardgames and RPG programming. This Saturday (7/20) from noon to 5PM at the Pima Community College Downtown Campus (1255 N. Stone Ave., come in through the east entrance). And we figured that it’d be a good opportunity to let you all know about other opportunities for gamer-y goodness here in southern AZ over the next several months, so check out everything below. Community event for all fandoms, sponsored by the Pima County Public Library. In addition to breaking out of escape rooms, participants will have the opportunity to assemble a kids craft, create cosplay costumes, take photos with cosplay groups, play roleplaying games, sample various tabletop board games, enter the Cosplay Showcase, challenge others in video-game tournaments, watch live comic-con sketch comedy, attend various workshops by award-winning authors and artists, and so much more.

We’re teaming up again with the fine folks at MOD Pizza! A portion of the profits from any orders placed at the MOD Pizza locations below (Tucson, Phoenix area, and now Sierra Vista!) will be donated to RinCon to help fund our special programming.
